Power Thought Cards
A 64-card deck of vibrant, positive affirmations created by the fairy godmother of personal and spiritual development, the late Louise Hay.
Each beautifully illustrated card has two sides: one side with the primary affirmation on it, and the other side expounding on it in more high-vibe detail. :)
I’ve been using this deck for over a decade - sharing it with individual clients and in group workshops for manifestation and self-inquiry.
I enjoy shuffling through the cards and finding ones (or letting my guides choose!) that light me up, and sometimes ones that perhaps awaken some tension in my body. For me, the latter is a sign that there’s something in my belief system related to the card’s message that I might want to explore further for spiritual growth.
Paths of exploration might involve direct contemplation of the words in meditation, breathing while looking at the card, having conversations about the cards message, writing it down on paper and journaling reactions, moving/dancing/yoga while contemplating the card’s message.
The easing of the tension in my body as I meditate/inquire/initiate convos shows me that my thoughts are coming into alignment with love, instead of fear - which tension, rejection, repulsion, and judgement often signify.
As always, find what resonates with your heart, and leave aside what doesn’t. This isn’t about forcing discomfort, but rather connecting with discomfort when it arises - assuming that it has something to teach us if we listen.
Here are some examples of the affirmations:
Front: There’s plenty for everyone, including me. Back: The Ocean of Life is lavish with its abundance. My good comes from everywhere and everyone and everything.
Front: My thoughts are creative. I say “Out” to every negative thought that comes to my mind. Back: No person, place, or thing has any power over me, for I am the only thinker in my mind. I create my own reality and everyone in it.
Front: I see clearly. Back: I willingly forgive. I breathe love into my vision, and I see with compassion and understanding. My clear insight is reflected in my outer sight.
Front: I open new doors to life. Back: I rejoice in what I have, and I know that fresh new experiences are always ahead. I greet the new with open arms. I trust Life to be wonderful.

May this gift of positive affirmations enhance your life, and the life of someone you love!
